A Naked Hello

Hello!

My name is Jeffrey, I'm 21 and I've been a nudist with my mother for the last 12 years. To be honest, this is my very first time writing a blog. I figured this would be a great way to share my story, talk others into the lifestyle or just help people understand the lifestyle.

I'm not going to share my full name, pictures of me and/or my mother, or my location for safety and privacy reasons but I can fill you in that I'm in the United States, in one of the warmer states, and I'm a college student but I live at home. I won't be able to post everyday but I will try to as often as possible.

Well first things first. My parents are divorced and neither my mom or I have much contact with my father. He's incredibly conservative and viewed nudity to be terribly wrong and was super against it. He wouldn't even kiss my mom in front of me and would get mad if someone were to walk around in just a towel, even if it was to go from the bathroom to the bedroom to change. Needless to say, he was a real hardass. Nine years ago my mother divorced him as she felt trapped and claustrophobic in her own home. (His prudeness and conservatism weren't the only reasons she divorced him, but this blog isn't about that so I won't go into much more detail).

Soon after the divorce, it was just me and my mother living together as she got sole custody of me. Within a couple months my mom started to go around the home in her underwear (which she had never done before). I remember being a little confused about this but never said anything. Not long after, she began to go around topless. And to think, I thought I was confused about the underwear thing. About a month or two later, she sat me down one weekend and told me that she's decided to become a nudist. I didn't know what that meant at the time but she explained that from now on she was going to go around home completely naked, but if I ever felt uncomfortable or anything to let her know and she would stop. She told me that it was okay for me to keep my clothes on and that she didn't expect me to join her. My mother told me that this was something she needed to do. Anywho, I left to go play outside for a few hours and when I came back inside, I saw my mother completely nude for the first time. I can remember it like it was yesterday. She was standing in the kitchen with her back to me. She was by the sink washing some dishes. When I first saw her, I just stood there and stared. I didn't really know what to do except stare at her butt crack. I can't remember how long I stood there and stared but she eventually turned around to face me and said something to me. For the life of me, i can't remember what she said and I probably didn't even know at the time. I just stared at my fully naked mother. It was awesome, not just because she was my mom but because she was a woman and she was naked. I was nine years old and encountered my first naked woman, who stood only 15 feet away from me. I kept thinking how cool I was as I bet none of my friends had ever seen a naked woman. Well, needless to say I stood there and stared at her breasts and her hairy pussy (which she would soon shave). Time went by and I became accustomed to seeing my mother naked around home. And finally after some months since she first went nude, I joined in. I don't remember much about making my decision but just that I really wanted to try it. So one night after getting out of the bathtub and drying off, I decided to skip putting on my pajamas and just stay nude. I walked out of the bathroom, went down the hall and just felt really great. It was different, but great. I walked into the living room where my mother was, sitting naked and watching TV. I entered, said 'Mom!' and stood naked and unashamed waiting for my mother to look at me. She turned her head, looked me up and down with a brief look of surprise and gave me a big smile. I reached my arms out as if to say 'look at me, I'm naked!'. I returned her smile with a big smile of my own and said 'I'm naked too!' And I've been naked ever since!
